NEON’s desire to expand its business in Japan and ITOCHU Property Development and The Sankei Building’s desire to diversify its business and strengthen its existing operations have matched, and the two companies have decided to work together as partners to jointly promote this project. ITOCHU Property Development, a member of the ITOCHU Group, and The Sankei Building, a member of the Fuji Sankei Group, are engaged in real estate development of various asset types, and we believe that we can develop NEON’s attractive content in Japan by utilizing the know-how of both companies in the selection of permanent exhibition sites, development, design supervision, etc. NEON’s attractive content can be developed in Japan.
As a first step, NEON JAPAN is pleased to announce that the exhibition “Ramses the Great: Gold of the Pharaohs” will be held at CREVIA BASE Tokyo in Koto-ku, Tokyo, in the spring of 2025.
In the future, NEON will plan to hold various exhibitions related to the films and national treasures owned by NEON, and will work to create spaces and new values that will delight customers and provide experiences that will move and delight visitors.
■Outline of the “Ramses the Great: Gold of the Pharaohs” Exhibition
The first exhibition, “Ramses the Great: Pharaohs’ Gold,” will showcase for the first time in Asia a collection of more than 180 precious items, including buildings and coffins built by Ramses II, the longest reigning pharaoh in ancient Egyptian history and the pharaoh of the 19th dynasty, and the gorgeous golden treasures that symbolize the reign of Ramses II. The collection will be exhibited for the first time in Asia. Commenting on the exhibition, Zahi Hawass, former Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and former Egyptian Minister of State for Antiquities, said, “Visitors will be able to discover the remarkable story of the great leader Ramses the Great, who signed the world’s oldest peace treaty and was a family man, a warrior, and a master builder. The gold, silver, and many other precious objects that never left Egypt will undoubtedly fascinate you.” He also said that the museum is “a great place to visit.

■Exhibition Location
The “Ramses the Great: Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition will be held at a building in Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo (one-minute walk from Ichiba-mae Station on the new Yurikamome Line). ITOCHU Property Development has acquired the naming rights to the building where the exhibition will be held and has named it “CREVIA BASE Tokyo”.
CREVIA is the brand name for condominiums developed by ITOCHU Property Development. The name “CREVIA BASE Tokyo” was chosen because we wanted to create a base where visitors can experience the creativity that is the origin of the brand name, and which they can also experience at the exhibition.
